Hot Dog Night – Tonight at 6:00!
The intention is for the evening to be outside in the schoolyard. Bring a jacket to enjoy the fresh weather! However, if the rain continues, the event will be held in the gymnasium. There will be a cash-only bar for those wishing to purchase beer or wine. Many thanks to the Grade 1 parents for their amazing preparations. Online ticket sales are now closed. Tickets will be available for purchase at the door by cash only!
SFO School Forms Online – Problem Corrected
Our apologies for the glitch found in the SFO. The forms uploaded yesterday remained at the 2018-2019 school year. This has now been corrected and all forms in the SFO to be processed by JICS families will read the correct date “2019-2020”. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

A Note from the NEW JICS Principal (May 31, 2019)
Dear Parents,
I would like to introduce myself: my name is Mirabella, I am in Grade 6, and I will be the JICS principal on Friday, May 31, 2019! That’s right, I will be taking over Richard’s office and role (I won this prize in the tuition support fundraising raffle.)
I am writing to let you know that I have designed a special day for all JICS students, JK to Grade 6. (Norah has planned a special morning for the Nursery children!)
On Friday morning, all classes with have an extra-long recess! I know that all JICS children will love this change!
In the afternoon, all children will be asked to sign up to see a movie. The choices will be shared with the children on Thursday. Of course, popcorn and freezies will be provided! Children who would prefer not to sign up for a movie will be able to play in one of the available classrooms (don’t worry – they will also get popcorn and freezies).
I look forward to meeting you at morning drop-off!
