2. Lice Check
Thanks to the Parents’ Association for funding today’s successful lice check. There are no cases of lice in our school!
3. Final Days with Teacher Candidates
Beginning in September, we have adult students from the JICS MA in Child Study and Education Program (teacher education program) in our JK to Grade 6 classrooms. March 25 is the official last day for the Winter Interns and for the Block 2 Teacher Candidates. We are grateful for their support in our classrooms and wish them all the best as they continue their development as future teachers.

Book and Ticket Event: Gutter Child with author Jael Richardson
March 25th | 7:00pm
Join us for a night of Q&A with author Jael Richardson moderated by Harper Collins Editor and JICS Parent, Jennifer Lambert.
The JICS Parents' Association has purchased five copies of Gutter Child for the school library. If a member of the community would like to attend but does not have the means to purchase a book/ticket, please contact Richard directly for a link to the event.

After you have purchased the book from Another Story, they will send you an email with the zoom link to the event with Jael Richardson. Chriss and Richard have both read the book already and said it is excellent. They hope to see you there!
5. Read-A-Thon
Thank you for supporting our annual JICS Library fundraiser. The funds gathered go directly toward visiting authors, illustrators, and storytellers, and to purchasing books for the library.
6. Parent Education: JICS Parenting Workshop Series - Session 4
