Read-a-Thon, Book Night and More!

The 24th Annual JICS Read-A-Thon has begun!

The children will be bringing home information today and you can visit our website for all the info you need regarding Read-a-Thon: https://www.jicsfamily.com/readathon

Book Night is next week! Wednesday, March 7, 6:00pm to 7:30pm

  • Join us and JICS Families for an evening celebrating literacy. Another Story Book Shop will run the book fair for us, in the foyer of 58 Spadina, for the whole day and evening on March 7.

  • For the evening celebration, we have invited beloved story-teller, Dan Yashinsky, to spin a few yarns for families in our very own J. Fraser Mustard Assembly Hall. The Glee Club will perform and students will be invited to share literacy projects This will be a wonderful community event, an important fundraiser for the Library program, and a perfect opportunity to purchase books for your avid and aspiring readers during March Break! Please email Krista know if you are interested in volunteering with this event.
