It was so wonderful to chat with many of you, both new and familiar, on Wednesday evening. Thanks to the Parents’ Association (PA) Executive for organizing a beautiful night together under a canopy of twinkling lights in the tent with delicious treats. This evening was an opportunity for parents to sign up to volunteer for various school functions. If you would like to volunteer your time, please sign up for one of the many volunteer opportunities.

Monday (September 18) is “picture day” at JICS! Children will have both individual and class photos taken and picture ordering packages will be sent home. Thanks to the Parents’ Association for coordinating volunteers for this day.
Professional Visitors
Next week you may see teacher-candidates from Kobe Shinwa Women’s University, Japan in our Nursery to Grade 5 classrooms along with a team of professors. Each year, we are honoured to host this group of B.Ed students at JICS and a group of Psychology students at our Integrated Kindergarten Program at Bloorview School Authority.
