ICS After School Daycare
Fees Information 2024-2025
ICS After School Daycare will be offering Full-Time and Part-Time childcare this school year. Families will be required to register for a minimum of 1 regular day/week to be considered Part-Time.
Flex Care will also be available this year; children will need to be registered with a Daycare profile. Flex Care allows use of the Daycare on an as needed basis, however requires minimum one day notice by email and confirmation from Supervisor. Classroom teacher must also be advised that child will be in Daycare on that date.
The Daycare will be offering the Creative Play Program on Wednesdays from 12:00 to 3:30pm for children in JK and SK only. Creative Play will be offered for sessions of 12 weeks starting Wednesday September 13, 2023, and cannot be used on as needed basis. If childcare is required after 3:30pm, please register child for After School Care.

Fee Payment
The ICS After School Daycare fees are set to cover the ongoing costs of operation. They are kept as low as possible and are raised only when necessary. Fees are subject to change upon approval by the Daycare Board of Directors. Families will be given one month notice of fee changes.
Families will be billed for services monthly. Invoices itemizing the services used will be sent out at the end of each month. Payment can be made by cash, cheque (made out to ICS After School Daycare), email money transfer, or credit card via our online software system (Procare). With credit card payments, a fee of 2.9% + $0.30 will apply and will be billed on the following month’s invoice. Invoices must be paid within 30 days of their receipt.
Receipts will be issued at the end of the calendar year.

Outstanding Balance from Prior Year
Any outstanding fees from previous year must be paid in full in order for 2024-2025 daycare registration to be accepted.
Late Payment Policy
Invoices must be paid within 30 days of their receipt. Outstanding invoice reminders will be generated by our online billing system (Procare).
An unpaid balance for two consecutive months will result in suspension. Families will be contacted by Daycare Supervisor to ensure payment is arranged and childcare is not suspended.
Please discuss any difficulties in fee payment with the Daycare Supervisor.
NSF Cheque Policy
Should the Daycare receive a cheque for payment of fees marked ‘Not Sufficient Funds’ (NSF), the family will be required to replace the amount within five days with an added $50.00 fee.
Absence from the Daycare
Parents are required to maintain payment of full fees during personal vacation, illness, or other absence from the Daycare. In the case of extended illness and/or situations when the parents cannot maintain payment of fees, the Daycare Supervisor will determine a solution in discussion with the Board of Directors.
Families will not be charged daycare fees should there be any unplanned school closure and/or transition to remote learning.
Late Pick Up Policy
Parents who are late picking up their child(ren) will be charged a late fee according to the following schedule. Late fees are to be paid to the Daycare staff on duty when child is picked up.
